Vehicle-wise it’s quite packed for a mid-2000’s game. 92 cars that were previously licensed meant you had everything from old German saloon cars, Italian rally cars, British classic cars and even a few SUV’s. The driving model is quite unique compared to other racers for its time. It tries to be both realistic in its damage model and vehicle behaviour, but also tries to be a full fledged arcade racer. It takes some getting used to. This re-release of World Racing 2 ditched the licensed cars for altered, non-licensed vehicles, GTA-style. Just something to note. Track-wise you have Hawaii, Miami, Italy, Egypt, the Test Center and the German GP (non-licensed Hockenheimring). All of these locations, minus German GP, have a multitude of different layouts for both circuit and point-to-point events.
