Waltz of the Wizard Delve into a meticulously crafted VR fantasy world, greatly expanded with major updates since the original release. Waltz of the Wizard includes hours of rich fantasy content, cutting-edge VR features and many curious secrets. Experience magical powers in a world inspired by the atmosphere of films like Fantasia and Harry Potter, combine arcane ingredients into a boiling cauldron with the help of an ancient talking skull, unleashing spells upon a fully interactive and mysterious world. Use blazingly fast voice interactions to wield magic, talk to characters or team up with a friend in local co-op on a screen with controller/keyboard. This game is unbelievably charming, the original base game was this neat thing where you can just mix potions and have fun with messing around the various parts of said tower. It was okay, nothing too stellar, but it was a delightful experience.

Then they added the free DLC Natural Magic, which allowed you to play a combat oriented dungeon crawler. The combat was okay, there wasn’t anything too crazy you could do, but it was satisfying mastering the magic and throwing enemies around with telekinesis, or summoning spectral blades to slash at these golems. Waltz of the Wizard: Extended Edition is fun little experience, with a decent amount of spells to craft and to play around with. With it’s main ownfalls being how much it holds you hand when crafting the spells, and most of the area you visit through the portals being static experiences. But, with that being said the game is priced correctly and is fun experience for showing and introducing your friends and family to VR.
