Twilight Manor: Roguelite FPS is a bloody and brutal shooter game that features beautiful cutscenes, jaw-dropping map design and an upgrade system you can carry over into Newgame+! You can even kick enemies and parry their projectiles! Very fun little game. There’s about 3 hours of content if you play through every mode and take your time exploring the levels. The guns feel powerful, and are very fun to use. The animations are overall great too, especially the reloads, which had me laughing the first time I saw them. Enemies telegraph their attacks well, and respond nicely to getting shot. The gore and gibs are also stellar. It’s not a particularly hard game, even on the highest difficulty. Headshots deal extra damage, and combined with your absurd rate of fire.

Stop time! With Twilight Mode, you can use your built up adrenaline to stop time and gain a huge advantage over your foes! Not gonna lie, im kinda mixed when comparing it to Twilight Town. The overall presentation has really improved, specially the map design, but balance, specially of the rogue-lite aspect i think it needed some more testing. Some bosses can be defeated by using twilight mode before they even have a chance to attack, in fact the final boss i managed to kill it with kicks by having the instakill kick perk. as the way the menu and cutscenes kick in are implemented in a way that its really easy to accidentally skip over them, which also prevented me to criticize the story, but i bet it was funny in a silly way. Theres also quite a bunch of mistakes that could be passed as bugs or unintentional behaviour, like the Carbine, which you cant shoot while you hold the secondary attack button, and a visual bug with the Drones that its just a simple offset misnumber in their sprite definitions.
