Platform 8 You are trapped on a train that runs forever. Keep an eye out for anomalies and find a way out. A bit spookier but much easier than the first game. The first had many subtle anomalies that, if you weren’t super perceptive, could leave you wondering why you got reset. It could start making you paranoid and have you double-checking the entire area. This one’s got a lot more obvious horror anomalies, that you couldn’t miss if you tried, and a few are more about figuring out how to continue past them without dying. Short and sweet sequel to the first game. It lacks certain instructions though so it may take a while to catch the drift of the game. If you played the first game, your first instinct when seeing an anomaly would be to turn around but that’s simply not possible here. There are also fun new strategies to some anomalies and once again the developer nailed the atmosphere and sound design.

Your mission is to keenly observe and identify anomalies in the train environment to escape. This game has a very unsettling atmosphere; play it at night for an even more intense experience. While Platform 8 has some impressive scares, its extremely confusing. Some of the anomalies, you just have to “survive”; on the otherhand, some of them you have to wait until they leave. There’s not much explanation with this. really enjoyed the game, at first it was a bit difficult to understand the rules. Because they weren’t indicated and I thought it would work in the same way as The Exit 8 but not totally… When you finally understand how it works and how to deal with the anomalies, the game is really good. When Exit 8 first came out back in November, I thought it was a neat little game where you had to really be on your toes to spot some of the tricky anomalies, but the experience was fun overall. Then came Platform 8. It’s easily a massive improvement with everything I liked about Exit 8.
