There are no saves, but each story is presented as a flowchart, so you can resume the game at any scene you’ve previously cleared. The gameplay is an interesting addition. Perhaps it’s just a way to pad out the length of a very short visual novel. including the gameplay, it took me about 2 hours to read through, but it also kind of makes you feel like you “earned” a good ending. Some of the match-3 goals are harder to beat than others, so you’ll have to replay them a few times, but not so much that it feels unfair. Overall, I think it strikes a good balance in terms of VN gameplay difficulty between so easy it feels pointless and so hard it feels frustrating.
