Nate, a 35-year-old “man-child” who lives in his parents’ basement and is socially awkward, reluctant, and largely unmotivated. As Nate treks through this surreal environment, he encounters odd landscapes, environments that challenge his balance, weird characters (including anthropomorphic donkeys), and strange items. Despite the comedic surface, the game also explores themes like futility, failure, identity, and the pressure to “perform” or act competent even when overwhelmed.
