won’t cut, etc. Switching from Windowed to Fullscreen (or vice versa) will fix it for a little bit, and then it’ll start acting up again. It’s disgusting. It got so annoying that I stopped playing the game for a few months before picking it up again. I was so confused by this I thought my  was breaking, but others have had the same problem. I’ve heard using a controller is better, but I honestly can’t believe this was allowed to happen.

The positive: absolutely, without a doubt, the best Danganronpa game. In the past, I’ve figured out who the culprit is long before the characters are even on to them, which does disrupt the tension of the class trials a little. It happened far less often here, and the mysteries seemed to escalate in a more satisfying way.

But where this game truly shines is in its utilization of the series’ themes. It expands upon them masterfully. As in previous games, you’ll feel the despair of the characters and revel in their fight for hope. At a certain point, however, this game finds a way to make that fight genuinely yours. The final act, and especially that last class trial, is not something I’ll ever forget. It’s brilliant.
