The opening cut scene was a bit jarring. I was not expecting a frame by frame comic book style for the opening. I was wondering why they chose that instead of using the in game engine. Seeing Dal, Janeway and Gwyndala talking on the bridge on the Protostar was some how worse. The were very stiff and awkward looking. While the voice acting is okay the animation was very low effort. As for the game play, the hand holding was very aggressive. By time the third or forth battle I really do not need another description of another status bar that exist in most games. Also at the end of the battle why stop me to tell me about the health bar only to allow the health drops to time out. Why let me get within a few feet of the enemy to tell be about something just to let me loose first move advantage.
