It would not be a very good adventure game without some head-scratching puzzles, although Lucid Dream can be a little exhausting in that regard. Most of the stages have a metaphoric meaning, which results in obscure puzzles that may have questionable logic. However, the game is very generous with hints unless you start on the hardest difficulty. There are still some consistency issues with UI but it is serviceable. Lucid Dream excels in the creative aspect of puzzles, more than any other adventure game that I know of. There are certain things in this game that I have never seen done before in this genre, so it definitely gets extra credit from me (you will see what I mean toward the end of the game). Not to mention that it also incorporates some psychological mechanics into the puzzles. It’s not the most logical game that takes some “suspension of disbelief” to be fully enjoyable.
